TIG welder for our workshop in Älmhult

We are looking for a TIG welder to join the workshop in Älmhult. The work is stainless all day, in tanks, vessels and process parts for the companies that build plants for the food, pharmaceutical and water treatment industries.
The work
You do precision welding in stainless plate, on small parts and large, with some assembly in between. The weld is rarely the whole task: you read the drawing, measure what you have made and judge whether it holds before it moves on. Where requirements peak the weld is X-rayed, and traceability follows the part all the way to delivery.
Our welding is certified to ISO 3834-2, the highest of the standard's three levels. In practice that means qualified welding procedures, approved welders and inspection before, during and after welding. It is the frame you work inside, and it is the same for everyone here.
We are looking for someone who
- is trained and experienced in TIG welding, above all in stainless
- reads drawings and works to stated welding requirements
- handles measurement well enough to check their own parts
- communicates comfortably in Swedish
Approval to ISO 9606-1 is a plus. If you have the experience without it, get in touch anyway.
What we offer
Day shift Monday to Friday, a permanent contract with a company that has run steadily since 1971 and room to train further as you want more. We are family owned, and you will notice that decisions are made close by.
Several of our people have worked here their entire working lives. That says something about the place which we would rather let them tell you than write out ourselves.
You are coming to a dedicated stainless shop. No carbon steel has touched our machines since 1971, which demands an order that shows in how the work is arranged.
Applying
Send a CV and a covering letter to info@hemarostfritt.se by 1 December 2024. We read applications as they arrive and will fill the position as soon as we find the right person, so do not wait for the closing date.
